A woman sitting on a couch was
critically injured when a roof
collapsed Friday night in Wicker
Park.
The woman was sitting on a couch
in a building under construction in
the 1100 block of North Ashland
Avenue when the roof collapsed on
her about 7 p.m., according to Fire
Media Affairs.
The woman was taken to John H.
Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County
in critical condition, according to
the fire department.
